If a Malaysian was born around the time Supernatural aired its first episode they'd be in their secondary schooling years by now. That's how long ago this journey started with Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles).
14 long years of fighting demons and punching angels in the face is finally coming to an end with the show's 15th season looming. The shows stars, which includes Misha Collins who plays Castiel announced the final season recently on social media.
The final season renewal on The CW was announced in January amongst other shows on the network such which include, Arrow, Black Lightning, Charmed, Legends of Tomorrow, Dynasty, The Flash, Legacies, Riverdale, and Supergirl.
Supernatural has been a mainstay with fans for a surprisingly long time given how many would have brushed the show off initially as yet another monster-of-the-week TV show. Evidently, seeing a pair of brothers travel around the United States in a 1967 Chevy Impala as they fight supernatural forces turned out to be a huge hit.
The final season will give 20-episodes that hopefully pay homage to the show's longrunning history and lore whilst being a proper send-off to the beloved characters of the show.
