Do you always wanted to travel and taste what Anthony Bourdain had? Well, very soon you can! The celebrity chef will soon have a food trail dedicated to him. Last year, a politician from New Jersey, Assemblyman Paul Moriarty, proposed a new food trail called Anthony Bourdain Food Trail and it has turned into a reality.
The late chef spent most of his childhood in New Jersey, so the politician decided to honor his legacy by proposing this food trail. The trail will include restaurants that Bourdain visited while filming for one his episode for Parts Unknown.
Some of the restaurants are Hiram’s Roadstand in Fort Lee, where the chef enjoyed a cheeseburger and a ripper (deep-fried) hot dog.
He also went to Kubel’s for some clams and beer.
Afterwards, he visited Knife and Fork Inn in Atlantic City for Pretzel-crusted swordfish over lump crab meat.
And then went on to Dock’s Oyster House for stuffed lobster and oysters.
The other restaurants that Bourdain went to are James’ Salt Taffy, Donkey’s Place in Camden, classic Jersey sandwich at Frank’s Deli, Tony’s Baltimore Grill, Lucille’s Country Cooking and Tony & Ruth Steaks.
So, are you a big fan of the chef? Do you want to buy a flight ticket and go to New Jersey once the food trail has completed? We sure would !
